Cockburn Train Station

We were engaged by Laing O’Rourke to support scopes of work in relation to the Armadale Access Alliance project, which is the Armadale Road to North Lake Road Bridge.

The scope of our contract included:

• Complete seating area at train station to a class Z;
• Ensure a high quality of standard was met as a high volume of people were interacting with the area;
• Work with simultaneous works in the area – earthworks, public transport and electrical works; and
• Ensure a high quality of finish was achieved on the top of seats.

During the project execution we were faced with the following site- specific challenges:

• Restricted access due to final road coverings;
• Pumping concrete and delineating site from general public while executing concrete pours;
• Working near live services; and
• Short timeline to execute works.
