Perth Modern School

We were engaged to construct architectural stairs as part of an extension to Perth Modern School.

The scope of our contract included:

• Obtain a class 2 finish;
• Complete all architectural requirements
• Form and place concrete for retaining walls, seats, tables and flower beds.

During the project execution we were faced with the following site- specific challenges:

• Restricted access to site
• Sourcing appropriate material to obtain a flawless curve
• Creating a seamless joint between balustrade walls and soffite; and
• Working in close proximity to finished products i.e. glass, paving and sealed walls
